Sashi Jayatileke
Climate Advisor
Sashi Jayatileke is a senior blended finance specialist, formerly with USAID’s Climate Finance Team where she led the design of catalytic financing initiatives to unlock private investment for climate action. She managed USAID’s Climate Finance portfolio and has worked extensively across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, advising on investment strategies that align commercial returns with development impact. Her expertise spans deal structuring, risk-sharing instruments, and financial innovation to expand access to capital in underserved markets. She is a trusted advisor to donors, DFIs, and investors seeking scalable, market-based solutions for development challenges. Sashi holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and a BA from Vanderbilt University.

Dr. Stefanie Kendall
Strategy Advisor
Dr. Stefanie Kendall is a lifelong educator. She spent 9 years at USAID as a Senior Education Officer putting education data to work in conflict settings. Using complexity aware data, she was able to design and implement programs in Yemen and Iraq, and support programs in Syria, Jordan, Morocco, Egypt, and Lebanon. Throughout the Syrian refugee crisis, it became imperative to access reliable data to frame the operating environment and needs of the most vulnerable beneficiaries. Dr. Kendall contributed to education policy and strategy in the Middle East North Africa region, and worked across sectors to identify viable interventions, leverage existing avenues for entry, and partner with host country governments. She has a keen sense of the vitality of up-to-date and user-friendly data systems. Dr. Kendall has a PhD in Teaching and Learning in Conflict Zones and has taught in Maine and Kuwait. She is now based in Washington, D.C., and is Technical Director for Education in Emergencies at FHI 360 where she manages projects in Northeast Nigeria, South Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo and sets strategic direction for the unit.

Chethika Gunasiri
RESEARCH DIRECTOR
Dr. Chethika Gunasiri is an environmental and sustainability professional with over 10 years of experience in urban ecosystems and sustainable cities. Her research primarily focuses on green spaces, water management, and urban environments. In addition to her academic work, she has extensive experience as a practitioner, contributing to policy development, project design, and management in urban water and wetlands Sectors.

Madhu Dissanayake
DEVELOPMENT ANALYST
Madhu is a qualified professional with over 15 years of experience in community development and management in the fields of Education, Health, and Environmental Sustainability working for both corporate and non-corporate sectors. She is also the co-founder of a non-profit centring on environmental conservation in Sri Lanka. Madhu has a Bachelor's degree in Social Statistics, International Relations, and French and has further completed her Master's in business administration from Cardiff Metropolitan University in Wales, UK.

Charles Moore
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE
Charlie has over 20 years of experience working with startups as a CEO, CFO and Director of Corporate and Financial Planning. In addition to founding a Health Care consulting company, Charlie was also Executive Vice President of Paidos Healthcare, Administrator of Medical and Surgical Specialties at Harvard Community Health Plan, CFO of Boston University's Health Policy Institute, and Director of Corporate and Financial Planning at New England Medical Center in Boston. Charlie has his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Trinity College in Hartford, CT.

Jack brings a wealth of experience in sales, business development, and establishing successful partnerships across diverse sectors, including software development, tech services, and consulting He holds a master's degree in international development from Aalborg University in Denmark, complemented by a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Kent in the UK. Jack's expertise is further enriched by prior involvement in international development, where he conducted research on Alternative development for an international drug policy NGO in Brussels.

Sonali Herath
Development Analyst
Dr. Sonali Herath is a dedicated professional who brings a wealth of expertise and commitment to the field of sustainable urban development, with a focus on green infrastructure and flood-resistant cities. She holds a Ph.D. in Science and Engineering from the Department of Environmental Sciences and Social Infrastructure, Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Saitama University, Japan. She also holds a M.Phil. in Geography from University of Colombo and a B.Sc. (Honors) in Town and Country Planning from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. Her expertise includes the integration of spatial information systems and participatory planning into sustainable and resilient urban development.
